LAMA Auction / May 2012

Evans Clark for Circle Furniture Manufacturers
Lot 284

Arts & Architecture, 1953

Circle was way out there in Glendora. Evans Clark also designed for Glenn of California.

Greta Grossman for Brown Saltman.
Lot 32

I've seen references that show Grossman designed for Brown Saltman, but I never would
have guessed it looked like this.  1942 is pretty early for Grossman in the US.  She landed
stateside in 1940 and opened her Rodeo Drive shop in 1941.

This the Grossman we know and love.
