  A Light Puff by Sesto Chiarello. They were shown in Good Design 1954 and California Design 1 Ridi and Otto Kolb lamp for Kolb Associates George Nelson trays with Sphere of Influence design for Schiffer Prints This is part of the Schiffer Prints Stimulus fabrics line.

Alvar Aalto chair that I was able to buy back from a friend. Kurt Versen lamp and a Grainware bowl produced by Plastic Productions Co., Redwood City, CA and designed by  Charles H. McCrea.  The Grainware bowl has remnants of a Good Design sticker.  Here it is in the first MoMA Good Design exhibition in 1950. Source: MoMA Richard Allen Morris

Isamu Noguchi, 1946 Chair Prototype, Sold for $182,500 Not a bad investment since it sold at Christie's for $72,500 in 2007  Photo: Sotheby's In 1946  William A.M. Burden hired  Noguchi to design chairs and a table to be used  in his  house in Maine, by   architect Wallace K Harrison.   Burden went  went with Eames DCMs instead.  I'm all about Eames, but they wouldn't be my choice with this table.   The Burden house burned to a crisp in 1999 and the only reason this chair is still around is because  it was stashed away in storage. Wright has a great collection of 1951 MoMA Lamp Competition winners at their December 15th Auction. Heifetz produced 10 of the 15 winners and Wright has  seven of them at the sale- not bad. What's up with all the cool stuff on the 1stdibs this week?  Both of these are being offered by Metro in DC  Ray Komai Laverne Originals Textile F-2-G floor lamp by A.W. & Marion Geller for  Heifetz Honorable mention in the  1951 MoMA Low Cost  Lighting Competition

Part of the  JF Chen  Eames Collection Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen Chair from the  1941 MOMA Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition. Haskelite Corporation and Heywood Wakefield were supposed to  produce the chair, but WW2 put a stop to that. The fabric is by Marli Ehram. According to the price list,   the chair was $89.50
