Neutra / Darling

In 1937, the first redwood-clad house by Richard Neutra was built in San Francisco. Otto Winkler assisted on the project. The Parnassus Heights house was built for Dr. Darling.

The redwood house is now a red house. Other than that, it looks intact.

Neutra was busy in 1937. Over a dozen projects were built, including The Davis House and The Strathmore Apartments.
