The Good Flea 2026 / Heath Ceramics
The second Heath Ceramics Good Flea was so much fun. Once again, Heath Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang selected about 15 dealers from around the world to participate. Last year was incredible and this year was even better. The Heath team, fellow vendors and customers were all such a pleasure to work with.
The Heath Pass the Plate booth had a line out of the building for most of the market.
Shin, Naohiro, and Masaki came from Japan to sell.
Shin's table
He also had an Eames film.
Gallery Stoop / Naohiro with Noguchi and early Yanagi cups.
Now Official / Masaki brought Mingei ceramics.
Tung was swarmed by his fans.
He had a beautiful display of Finnish pieces and flatware.
Speaking of flatware... Dung, the flatware king of New York, and globetrotter was set up with souvenirs he picked up on his travels.
Dung was really working his California visit. He merchandised with citrus and even had the sun working for him. Everyone ate it up.
Carl/Oak Street Vintage made it down from Eugene again!
He had piles of good Japanese objects.
Cathy Bailey, co-owner of Heath Ceramics, put together a collection of vintage board games.
Jeff / Farnsworth Modern
It's always a good mix from that hippie.
Lisa Cliff Collection never lets me take her picture, so here is her Shiba, Mia.
Always the best jewelry.
Lauren Frost Vintage was showing a great collection of vintage clothes and handbags.
Books of Interest was a newcomer this year. He had an outstanding collection. Those boxes were empty after the first day.
The furniture side of my space...
and the smalls. I forgot a bin of merchandise at home and sales were really good...
so I had to go junking on Sunday morning to stock back up.
It's a weekly swap meet in SF. This was my third time going. I picked up a little pile of things, including this Heath plate. I also flipped something while I was there, just for the sport of it.
The Heath plate is a glaze test piece.
My swap meet pile at the show. I sold the wrapped rock and beautiful salad set there.
A happy customer.
The dog watching was on another level. I met the owner of a nearby pet store who told me there are more dogs than kids in San Francisco.
See you next year!
